It wasn’t easy. And it took years of effort, fucking things up, figuring things out and of course earning some huge victories and achievements and spending millions of dollars to figure it all out…
But don’t worry, you won’t have to learn the way I did.
You see, after I decided to pursue my real passion of health and fitness full time, I quit my job as a builder, got accredited as a Coach and Personal Trainer, and started slogging away for a large gym on 100% commission while competing with 35 other PTs for business.
I realized fairly quickly that the only way I was going to achieve my #1 goal of helping people transform their lives for the better was by going into business for myself.
So, I decided to open my own gym. Unfortunately, this was a lot harder than I expected.
After I finally mustered the seed capital to put a deposit on a facility, I had ZERO money in the bank. It was time to hustle hard.
Like you probably have, too, I literally spent every waking hour hustling to get people to join my gym and pay the bills to keep the lights on. I somehow managed to pull through but knew SOMETHING HAD TO CHANGE.
As much as I loved the idea of continuing to pursue my passions of coaching and personal training in my own gym, I couldn’t keep battling this way to get a single lead and generate the revenues I desperately needed.
I felt like I was chasing my tail spending all my time trying to get more memberships… to the point that I didn’t have any time to actually work on growing my business or building my personal vision for it.
But I wasn’t just going to give up.
I doubled down and started learning everything I could about business, sales, marketing, and mindset… and it paid off.
